Until Death – touches it –
While “it” and I – lap one – Air –
Dwell in one Blood –
Under one Firmament –
Show me Division –

“Faith” – is like – life –
Only, the longer –
Faith – is like Death –
During – the Grave –
Faith – is the Fellow of the Resurrection,
Scooping up the Dust –
And chanting – Live!

Zolang “zij” leeft –
Tot de dood – haar raakt –
Zolang “zij” en ik – één Lucht – inademen –
In één Bloed wonen –
Onder één Sterrenhemel –
Toon me het Onderscheid dat –
———kan splitsen – of uiteenscheuren!
“Geloof” – is als – leven –
Alleen, duurt het langer –
Geloof – gaat als de Dood –
Voort – in het Graf –
Geloof – is de Metgezel van de Opstanding,
Die het Stof opschept –
En zingt – Leef!
