Oh no, but on some other flight –
Thou only camest to mankind
To rend it with Good night –

Van binnenuit jouw Graf!
Oh nee, je zit op ’n heel andere vlucht –
Jij kwam enkel onder de mensen om ze
Te overrompelen met een Goede nacht –

Wie de ‘jij’ mag zijn, blijft onduidelijk. Misschien Christus, die niet in het graf blijft, maar ‘uitvliegt’ naar de hemel.
